Of course, dropping down to a bit interface reduces the cost of both chips and boards considerably, which is exactly why NVIDIA made such a compromise. For what are you going to use the program? The effects of reduced memory bandwidth would be borne out at higher resolutions and color depths. A variety of “TNT2” cards are popping up all over the place with prices that seem too good to be true.

Can’t stop buying them as they greatly affect the game experience, which isn’t so with graphics adapters, as long as they are simply compatible. Installing a Matrox Millennium surprisingly made the problem vanish. But Gravis, it has sign “Wanted dead or alive” too. Yeah, that’s one option. Juat keep in mind that you should preferably get some good quality based S3 Trio card, as the output quality may vary depending on manufacturer DAC quality probably being the reason. Anyway, can you recommend me graphics card for this pc which can stand games like Duke 3D and Blood, but has no problem with Commander Keen?
As it does with all TNT2 cards, 2D quality will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. I am sure it is made by ATi.

Ok, makes sence, but it will be a little bit hassle carrying it on 3,5″ floppies. Now I rather tend to focus on ISA soundcards. What do you like most about this program? Back in the days of the original Matrox Millenium, bit graphics were all the rage. If anyone else could test this game with a similar card, play it for a bit and let us know if you see these glitches.

I will see, the trial and error is the way. Unfortunately, this was not to be the case as both chips support manpi to 32MB. The internal architecture is still bit, just like the TNT2. At the weekend I tried to play Commander Keen on my newly acquired W95B “Gaming Rig”, but the screen was all shaky and jerky on lateral movement, even with Fix jerky tng2 option turned on.
